The PDF is not downloading

The PDF isn't downloading when I click the button

If clicking the Lightning PDF Generator button doesn't produce a download, work through the checks below in order.

1. Check for a blocked pop-up or download. Some browsers silently block file downloads or treat them as pop-ups. Look for a blocked-download icon in your browser's address bar, and check your browser's download settings if nothing appears after clicking.
2. Verify your CSS selector, if you're using one. If you configured a CSS selector to target specific content, confirm it actually matches an element on the page — a selector that matches nothing will fail to generate output. See the setup guide for selector examples.
3. Confirm the page was saved. After adding or editing the component in Lightning App Builder, make sure you clicked Save — an unsaved configuration won't take effect on the live record page.
4. Review Known Limitations. Content with non-PNG images, cross-domain images, or SVG elements may cause the PDF generation to behave unexpectedly. See the Known Limitations section of the setup guide.
