How to Assign Permission Sets in Agile Manager

Permission Sets control what features and data each user can access in Agile Manager. To grant full administrative access to team members, assign them the Agile Manager Admin permission set. Only Salesforce administrators can assign permission sets.

👥 Assign the Admin Permission Set

Follow these steps to grant admin access to your team members:

1. Open Setup
   Click the gear icon in the top right corner of Salesforce and select Setup.
2. Find Permission Sets
   In the Quick Find box on the left menu, type Permission Sets and press Enter to open the Permission Sets page.
3. Select Agile Manager Admin
   Look for Agile Manager Admin in the permission sets list and click it to open.

1. Open Manage Assignments
   Click the Manage Assignments button to see who currently has this permission set.
2. Add a New Assignment
   Click the Add Assignment button to assign the permission set to new users.
3. Select Users
   Check the boxes next to the users you want to grant admin access. You can select multiple users at once.
4. Confirm Assignment
   Click the Assign button. The users will now have Agile Manager admin access immediately.

What's the Difference?

1. Agile Manager Admin: Full access to all features, settings, and configuration options. Can manage releases, sprints, users, and permissions.

❓ Troubleshooting

User still can't access Agile Manager? Verify they have been assigned the Agile Manager Admin permission set as well as any admin sets they need.

Can't find the permission set? Confirm that Agile Manager has been installed correctly. See How to Install Agile Manager for installation steps.

Need to remove admin access? Return to the permission set and click the X next to the user's name in the Manage Assignments section.
