Question: We have many internal resource levels, but only a few billing rates. Since our team doesn't assign specific levels during scoping, selecting from the full list of organizational levels causes confusion. How can we simplify this?

The cleanest solution is to embed the relevant levels directly into your Role names and skip using the standalone Resource Level picklist altogether.

How to set this up:

1. Update your Role Picklist: Replace broad role names with combined Role + Level names (e.g., Senior Developer - L1, Senior Developer - L2).
2. Update Rate Cards: Map your billing rates directly to these combined Role names.
3. Remove/Bypass Resource Levels: Leave the Resource Level field unassigned across both Scope items and Rate Cards.

By consolidating levels into the role titles, your team won't need to select a separate level for every scope item, and your resource rollups will calculate accurately without showing unnecessary organizational tiers.
