Edit the E-Signature Email Manually Before Sending Using Salesforce Native Email
Use Salesforce's native email capability by inserting the desired template and manually making edits before sending. After sending the email, ensure you update the status of the E-Signature Request record to "Sent for Signature" to enable guest user record sharing for the e-signature process.
In short: send the email with Salesforce's native email, then set the E-Signature Request status to Sent for Signature. |
Steps
- Compose the email: use Salesforce's native email capability and insert the desired template.
- Edit and send: manually make any edits you need, then send the email.
- Update the status: after sending, update the status of the E-Signature Request record to "Sent for Signature".
Don't skip the status update: setting the status to "Sent for Signature" is what enables guest user record sharing for the e-signature process. |
