Configure and Use the PDF Selector Tool

Overview: The PDF Selector Tool (LWC) adds a button to any Salesforce record page that lets users pick the components on the page and download them as a single PDF.

Part 1: Configure the PDF Selector Tool

Step 1: Open App Builder for the record page of any object.

Step 2: Drag and drop PDF Selector Tool (LWC) from the managed components list.

Step 3: Place it on the page. Recommended: as the last component on the page.

Step 4: Configure the component properties:

Button Label: the label shown on the button.
File Name: the name of the PDF. Use merge field context as with other components.
Insert Page Break: check this to load each selected component on its own PDF page.

Step 5: Save and activate the record page. The button now appears as shown below.

Part 2: How to Use

Step 1: Click the PDF Selector Tool button. Each component on the record page is listed for selection.

Step 2: Select components one by one, or click Select All in the action utility bar.

Tip: Enable Insert Page Break so each selected component starts on a new PDF page.
