Assigning QuoteX Licenses

How to Assign QuoteX Licenses to Users

Target Audience: Salesforce Administrators

Prerequisite Requirement

To complete this procedure, you must log into Salesforce with a user account assigned to the System Administrator profile or possess equivalent permissions to manage managed package licenses.

Step-by-Step Procedure

Step 1: Log In to Salesforce

Navigate to your company's Salesforce login page and log in using your System Administrator credentials. Ensure you are in the correct environment (Production or Sandbox) where the package is deployed.

Step 2: Navigate to Installed Packages

  1. Click on the Gear Icon in the top-right corner of the global navigation bar.
  2. Select Setup.
  3. In the left-hand navigation panel, locate the Quick Find search box.
  4. Type Installed Packages and click on the matching result under the Apps section.

Step 3: Locate QuoteX Package

Review the list of managed packages currently active in your organization. Locate the entry named QuoteX.

Step 4: Click Manage Licenses

Immediately to the left of the QuoteX package name, click on the Manage Licenses action hyperlink. This opens the license assignment control plane.

Step 5: Open the User Selection Interface

At the top of the License Overview screen, click on the Add Users button. This action generates a filtered list of all active users within your organization who do not currently possess a license.

Step 6: Select and Assign Target Users

  1. Check the box adjacent to each user's name to select them.
  2. (Optional) Use the search bar or alphanumeric filters to locate specific individuals quickly.
  3. Once all intended recipients are selected, click the Add button at the bottom of the user lookup screen.

Step 7: Complete Verification

That's it! The page will refresh to show your updated user list. Verify that the newly selected users now appear in the assigned list, and that your remaining license count has decreased accordingly.
