The custom Lightning Dashboard for QuoteX is a comprehensive, user-friendly interface designed to provide real-time insights and analytics. This dashboard consolidates key metrics and data visualizations, enabling users to make informed decisions quickly. It integrates seamlessly with QuoteX, offering an intuitive and efficient way to monitor and manage your quoting process.

Installation and Setup

Follow these steps to install and set up the QuoteX Dashboard:

Step 1: Install the Managed Package

**With the installation, a new reports folder is created in the org with the name 'PSC Reports Folder'. Provide READ access to all your users to this this folder who will be using QuoteX Dashboard.



Step 2: Configure Navigation Item

1. Go to Salesforce Setup and search for "PSC Extensible Navigation Item".

2. Manage records of the PSC Extensible Navigation Item.

3. Add a new record for the 'Dashboard' navigation item with the following details:




Step 3: Validate the Navigation Item

1. Navigate to a Quote record to verify that the 'Dashboard' navigation item appears as configured.






Step 4: View the Dashboard

1. Access the QuoteX Dashboard through the newly added navigation item to start viewing real-time data and insights for your existing quotes.





Step 5: Add a Timeline Dashboard

1. Go to Salesforce Setup > Custom Metadata > search for "PSC Additional Schedule Tab".

2. Manage records of the PSC Additional Schedule Tab Item.

3. Add a new record for the 'Dashboard' navigation item with the following details:





Step 6: Validate & View the New Tab "Dashboard" in timeline

1. Navigate to a Quote record > timeline record to verify that the 'Dashboard' tab appears as configured .

1. Standard Efforts By Role.

This chart displays a bar for each unique role involved in the direct efforts on the scope. It provides a clear view of the hours allocated for each role during the scoping and sizing activities. 2. Derived Efforts By Role

This chart displays a bar for each unique role derived from the resourcing plan template applied. It shows which roles have been derived and the number of hours allocated to each of those roles. This information helps you understand the effort distribution based on predefined resourcing plans, ensuring that all necessary roles are accounted for in the project planning process.


3. Efforts By Phase

This chart provides a breakdown of the hours (direct + derived) allocated to each phase of the project. By visualizing the effort distribution across different project phases, this chart helps you understand how resources are planned and utilized throughout the lifecycle of a project. It aids in ensuring that each phase is appropriately staffed and managed for successful project execution.


4. Scopes by Category

This chart displays the number of scopes grouped by different categories. It helps you see how many scopes fall into each category, providing insights into the distribution and organization of scopes within the project. This information is valuable for analyzing project diversity and focus areas.


5. Scopes by Active/Inactive

This chart shows the total number of scopes segmented into active and inactive statuses. It offers a quick overview of how many scopes are currently active and being worked on versus those that are inactive. 6. Scopes by Review Status

This chart categorizes scopes based on their review status, showing how many scopes are under review (Amber), approved (Green), or need revision (Red). 7. Scopes by Type (Story, Epic, Component)
