Manage Survey Questions
1. Accessing the Question Manager
- Navigate to your Survey Details page.
- Click the Manage Questions button located in the top-right toolbar.
- In the "Survey Questions" pop-up window, click Add First Question to begin.
2. Setting Up a Question
When adding a question, you have several configuration options:
Basic Setup
- Question Text: Type your primary question in the text field.
- Is Required: Toggle this checkbox to make the question mandatory or optional.
- Type Selector: Click the dropdown next to the text field to define the response format (e.g., Yes/No, Select One, Text, etc.).
Answer Configuration
- Manual Entry: Type individual answers into the answer fields.
- Templates: Use the Apply answer template dropdown to quickly populate common response sets.
- None of the Above: Optionally include a "None of the Above" choice.
- Labels for Comments: If the main question text is limited by character count, use the Label for Additional Comments box to provide further instructions or context.
Scoring for Mock Tests
- Correct Answers: For quiz-style surveys, enter the correct answers in the dedicated field. Use semicolon-separated values in the same order as defined in the answer list to enable automated scoring.
3. Supported Question Types
Feedback 360 supports a wide variety of formats to suit different data needs:
- Binary/Selection: Yes/No, Select (One), Select (Multiple).
- Quantitative: Number, Price ($), Percent (0%-100%).
- Qualitative: Text, Email, Date/Time.
- Ratings: Bad-Awesome Quality Rating, Likert Scale (Dissatisfied-Satisfied), Emotions Rating (1-5), Likely-Unlikely Number Rating (0-10).
4. Conditional Question Routing
You can create a dynamic survey experience by showing specific questions based on previous answers.
- How to add: Click the Hierarchy Icon (Add a conditional question) next to a "Select One" (Yes/No) question.
- Logic: Specify which response (e.g., "Yes" or "No") triggers the follow-up question.
- Behavior: Conditional questions remain hidden unless the respondent selects the specific trigger answer from the parent question.
