The Fee Allocation and Percentage Calculation feature allows users to effortlessly calculate and apply a percentage of total project fees as an additional fee under "Other Costs." This feature is ideal for scenarios where organizations need to add fees—such as technology fees, licensing fees, or administrative charges—over and above the core project costs. It ensures precise fee calculations, streamlining billing processes while maintaining transparency with customers.

Setup & Configure


After successful installation, you just need to follow few steps and you are ready to use Add-On feature 'Apply Percent of Total'.

1. Update User Profile or Permission Set

Ensure that your user profile or permission set has read and edit access to the newly added fields in the Timeline Other Cost object with the namespace psce_ext. Refer to the screenshot below to verify the fields and permissions.


2. Create a New Record in the PSC Other Costs Object


3. Update the PSC Percent of Total Custom Setting

5. Setup Completion

You’re done with the setup!




How Users Will See and Use the Feature

Once the setup is complete, users will see a new tab named Apply Percent of Total in each Timeline. Here’s how they can use it:

The feature will calculate the Percent of Total and automatically add it to the Other Costs tab in the same Timeline.

With this, the Percent of Total has been successfully applied and reflected in the Timeline.
