This guide will walk you through the installation, setup, configuration, and usage of the Revenue Schedule feature in QuoteX. This feature enables you to track and manage projected revenue by time period, providing a structured schedule for better financial forecasting.
By using the Revenue Schedule, you can ensure that your revenue projections are organized, easily accessible, and updated in real time based on resource allocation and rates, helping you make informed business decisions.

Installation and Setup
Prerequisites
- This add-on package requires QuoteX version 1.75 or higher to be installed.
- An active license for QuoteX is necessary to install this add-on. If you do not have an active license, installation will not be possible.
- If you have an active license but your current version of QuoteX is below 1.75, you must upgrade to version 1.75 or higher before you can install this add-on.
With the installation URL provided, you now have 15 days to set up and trial the package. Use this URL to proceed with the installation.
- Open the installation URL in your browser.
- Log in to the Salesforce org where you want to install the package.
- Select Install for All Users to apply the package with a sitewide license.
- Check the box for I acknowledge... since this managed package is not listed on AppExchange.
- Click Install to complete the process.
Ensure you have active licenses of this feature, purchased.
Setup & Configure
After successful installation, you just need to follow few steps and you are ready to use Add-On feature 'Revenue Schedule'.
- Step 1: Go to Setup > Search for 'meta' > Find 'PSC Additional Schedule Tab' custom metadata type.
- Step 2: Manage Records and add a new record with below details:
- Label: RS
- PSC Additional Schedule Tab Name: RS
- Tab Name: Revenue Schedule
- Lightning Component With Namespace: psce_ext:PSC_RevenueSchedule
- Is Active: Checked
- Order: 0 (this is org specific, enter it accordingly)
Thats it! You have successfully setup and configure the Revenue Schedule feature in QuoteX!
Step-by-Step Instructions to Use
- Navigate to the Quotes section within your Salesforce environment.
- Select the quote and create a new or navigate to a timeline.
- Notice the new tab appears with the name 'Revenue Schedule'
- Push the 'Revenue Schedule' tab to view the project revenue burn for each time period.
Tips
- Make sure that all resource hours and rates are updated and saved in the Resource View before proceeding.
- After any changes to resource hours or rates, click the refresh button located at the bottom left to ensure the Revenue Schedule reflects the latest data.
- Only billable resources will have their projected revenue displayed in the Revenue Schedule; non-billable resources will show a value of 0.
Troubleshooting
- No Revenue Data Found: If the Revenue Schedule shows no data, ensure that hours and rates for billable resources have been properly entered and saved in the Resource View, and refresh the schedule.
- Error Generating Revenue Schedule: If an error occurs while generating the Revenue Schedule, capture the error details and contact your system administrator for further assistance.
