Inactive "PSC Other Costs" Appearing in Timeline

There is a functional discrepancy in how the system handles the "Is Active" flag on the PSC Other Cost object. While the administrative interface allows a user to uncheck the "Is Active" box to retire a specific cost item, these inactive records continue to appear in the selection menu within the Timeline.

To reproduce the issue where inactive PSC Other Costs remain selectable within a project timeline, follow these steps:

• Deactivate a Cost Item:
  • Navigate to the PSC Other Costs tab within the QuoteX application.
  • Select an existing PSC Other Cost record or create a new one for testing.
  • Uncheck the "Is Active" checkbox and save the record [Conversation History].
• Access a Quote Timeline:
  • Go to the PSC Quotes tab and open a quote record.
  • Open an active Timeline associated with that quote (or create a new one).
• Navigate to Other Costs in Timeline:
  • Within the timeline interface, click on the Other Costs tab located above the resource grid.
• Trigger the Selection Menu:
  • Place your cursor in an empty cell to select other costs.
  • Tap the spacebar on your keyboard to reveal the list of available PSC Other Costs items.
• Observe the Discrepancy:
  • Verify that the inactive cost item you modified in Step 1 is still present in the dropdown list and can be added to the timeline.

Until a permanent filtering logic is applied to the Timeline selection component, administrators should use a naming convention strategy to signal status to users:

• Action: Navigate to the 'PSC Other Costs' tab.
• Renaming: Edit the Cost Name of the inactive record to include a clear prefix or suffix such as "OBSOLETE" or "DO NOT USE."
• User Guidance: Instruct users that when they tap the spacebar to view the cost list, they must ignore any items flagged with these status markers.
